As you might see in our images, the obverse has a cameo-like appearance while the reverse is a more subdued yellow gold. Both sides retain the most amazing amount of mint luster. Due to the reflectivity of the surfaces one can pick up the very faintest hairlines which hold the present specimen back from a higher grade.
Interestingly, the 2003 Jay Roe specimen, also the Plate coin for the Second Addition of the Breen Gillio encyclopedia, was a PCGS MS62. We unhesitatingly declare this coin to be fresh to the market.
