Attica, Athens silver Tetradrachm, NGC About Uncirculated, nearly Perfect Strike (5/5) and Surface (4/5) . This coin design is #10 in the 100 Greatest Ancient Coins (see image below). Circa 440-404 BCE. The head of Athena faces right, adorned with an earring, necklace, and crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl The reverse features an Owl standing right with head facing; olive sprig and berry behind and in upper left field, ATE to right; all within incuse square.
